Halloween at Hogwarts
We'll be open on Saturday, October 30 from 3-8pm, and We're turning the barn into Hogwarts School for a fun Harry Potter themed Halloween! Our menu for this event includes sausage on a bun, pulled pork sandwiches, chicken salad croissants, hot dogs, home apple, pumpkin, and pecan pies, along with some Hogwarts Specialty drinks - Butterbeer and Pumpkin Juice! We'll also have several fun Harry Potter activities for the kids, including the Sorting Hat, Ollivander's Wand Shop, Potions Class, Wizard Racing, and Quidditch Pitch! Come in wizard robes, muggle attire, or any Halloween costume! The kid's activities are free and no tickets are required. The only cost is for the food and drinks that you purchase.
Oktoberfest Event
Come out to the farm on Sept. 25 for some delicious food - Oktoberfest style! Our menu for this event includes sausage, sauerkraut, German potatoes, pretzels, kolaches, and homemade fall pies - apple, pumpkin, and pecan. We will also have polka music, face painting, Oktoberfest activities for all ages, and plenty of opportunities to chicken dance! Food will be served from 4-8pm. The party will continue from 8-10pm with polka dancing. BYOB!
Morath Orchard Corn Maze
We are getting so excited about fall at the farm! Will's corn maze and pumpkins are growing, and he's planning to open on September 10 at Morath Orchard! This is so much fun! Go to morathorchard.com or follow Morath Orchard on Facebook to find out more information about the Corn Maze.
Last Days for U-Pick Blackberries!
Monday and Tuesday this week will be the last days that we'll be open for U-Pick Blackberries! We ran out of jam and jelly on Saturday, but I'm making more today. Be sure to stop by to stock up on jam, jelly, and syrup and pick some blackberries one more time! We'll be open on Monday from 5-8pm and Tuesday from 9am-1pm. Our Café will also be open with chicken salad croissants, hot dogs, blackberry pie, peach pie, and ice cream with blackberries. (plus biscuits with jam on Tuesday morning)
